How do I setup Outlook Express?

Step 1 Open Outlook Express from the Windows start menu. If you do not see it there, then click the All Programs button and it should be in the drop down list. Once you see the program name click the link to open the program.

Step 2 In Outlook Express menu bar click Tools and choose Accounts form the drop down menu.

Step 3 In the accounts window click the mail tab and then choose the Add button on the right.

Step 4 Enter your name as you want it to be seen by the recipients of your email.

Step 5 Enter your full email address.

 Step 6 Choose POP3 as the server type. Enter as the incoming and outgoing server names.

Step 7 Enter your full email address as your logon name. Also, enter you password and click Next.
      ***Note*** Account name will be your full email> email address.

Step 8 Click Finish and continue. 

Step 9 Highlight the account and click the Properties button to open its properties.

Step 10 Click the Servers tab and check the box for My server requires authentication.  Click Apply and OK.

Final Step Close the accounts window and click the Send/Recv button. You will see a dialogue box. Once successfully completed, you should receive a test email from Outlook in your inbox.
